Grilled Tempeh Sandwich with Avocado Tahini Spread
Ingredients
Tempeh Sandwich
  • 1slab tempehUsually comes in slabs 1/2″ thick. Slice lengthwise in half for 1/4″ thick pieces
  • 1tbsp Bragg’s liquid amino acids or soy sauce
  • 1tsp Sesame oil
  • tomato
  • Avocado
  • romaine or green leaf lettuce
  • Red onion
  • sprouted grain buntoasted
Avocado Tahini Spread
  • 1tbsp tahini
  • 1slice Avocadoabout 1″ thick at middle
Instructions
  1. Mix aminos and sesame oil. Slice tempeh into 1/4″ thick slices. Dip tempeh into mixture. Grill tempeh on both sides in pan on stove or on George Foreman or other type grill, until golden brown.
  2. In separate bowl, with fork, mash one slice avocado into 1 tablespoon tahini. Spread onto toasted bun.
  3. Top with lettuce, tomato, red onion and any other favorites. Enjoy!
