Asian-style Cabbage and Tomatoes with Green Onion and Garlic

The flavors of the sautéed tomatoes, garlic and green onions blended with the liquid aminos, rice vinegar yield a tangy, flavorful cabbage sautee. Enjoy!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 10 cloves garlic about a head, sliced
  • 1 bunch green onions sliced
  • 1 head green cabbage slice from head down, it will emerge as thin strips
  • 3-4 medium tomatoes quartered
  • 1 package Firm Tofu cubed about 1"
  • 1/4 cup liquid aminos
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar more, if desired
  • 1 cube beef or vegetarian bouillon I used a brand called "Not Beef" Bouillon

Instructions
 

  • Heat wok or large pan over medium heat on stove. Cook garlic and onion 2-3 minutes. Stir in cabbage, tomatoes, liquid aminos, rice vinegar and bouillon. Cover with lid, stirring a couple of times. Cook about 8-10 min until cabbage is tender yet still a little crispy. The water from the tomatoes and cabbage will blend with other ingredients to create a tasty sauce.
